Spoiler Alert: we don't claim to be original in our thoughts, but we believe our execution is superior.
The idea for Site Avenger was born out of the need to deliver professional-quality web sites, while using the functionality that Saco Design had built into other sites. We wanted to create a code repository, of sorts. The served our purposes well, but had many short-comings. As we learned more about what our clients needed to get out of their web site, we realized every client had similar needs.
Site Avenger is the product of constant evolution. We are never satisfied and want to continue on our quest to develop a superior CMS. We don't want to make money by selling Site Avenger licneses (although, it wouldn't hurt). What we want to do is provide all of our clients access to our entire portfolio of functionality. Then, if a client wants a blog or wants an events calendar, the code is ready to go and the client only gets charged for the customization of the plugin.
